Which type of roofing sheet is best?
For a warehouse, shed, farm building or market hall the answer is a trapezoidal steel sheet 0.45–0.50 mm thick in galvanized Z200–Z275 or pre-painted (PPGI) finish: it costs 4–6 USD/m², spans 1.5–2.5 m between purlins, lasts 15–30 years and goes up at 300–500 m² per crew per day. Corrugated (sinusoidal) sheet is the cheapest and lightest option for small roofs, fences and cladding; aluzinc gives 2–4× the life of galvanized in humid or coastal air for a 5–15% premium; polycarbonate and fibre-cement are not steel and are outside this page. When the building is heated or cooled, a sandwich panel replaces sheet plus insulation in one lift.

Thickness, weight and coverage
Export orders are mostly 0.45–0.50 mm; 0.30–0.35 mm is sold for fences, temporary works and price-driven African markets, 0.60–0.70 mm for long spans and foot-traffic roofs. State thickness as the base-metal thickness (BMT) — some markets quote total coated thickness (TCT), which is 0.03–0.05 mm higher.

Lengths, cutting and packing
Sheets are cut to your length list from 1 m to 13.5 m (11.8 m maximum for a 40' HC; longer by truck or flat-rack) with no cut-to-length charge. Packs are 60–100 sheets, 1.5–3 t, on timber bearers, film-wrapped and strapped, labelled with length and colour; the roof plan and cutting list are confirmed before rolling.
Flashings, fasteners and accessories
Every order can ship as a complete roof: ridge caps, eaves and verge flashings, corner and drip profiles bent from the same coil and colour; self-drilling screws 4.8 × 35–65 mm with EPDM washers (6–8 per m²), stitching screws, foam closure fillers (profile-matched), butyl tape, gutters and downpipes, and polycarbonate skylight sheets in the same profile.

Installation notes
Purlin spacing per the span table; sheets are laid against the prevailing wind with a one-corrugation side lap (two for corrugated in high wind) and 150–200 mm end lap with sealant; minimum roof pitch 5° for 45/333, 8° for 38/151, 12° for corrugated. Fix through the crest on roofs and through the valley on walls; walk on the purlin lines. Strip the protective film within 30 days and store packs off the ground on a slope.

Which type of roofing sheet is best?
For most industrial and agricultural roofs a 0.45–0.50 mm trapezoidal steel sheet (38/151) in PPGI or Z275 galvanized: best span-to-cost, 15–30 years, fast to install. Use aluzinc in humid coastal climates, corrugated 18/76 for small spans and fences, and sandwich panels when insulation is needed.
What is the cheapest roofing sheet?
Corrugated 18/76 galvanized sheet at 0.30–0.35 mm — around the low end of the band above per m² FOB — followed by 27/150 galvanized. Cheaper sheets need closer purlins (0.9–1.2 m) and give a shorter life, so compare on installed cost.
What is the price of corrugated sheet in the UAE?
Landed Jebel Ali in container quantity, a 0.40 mm galvanized corrugated sheet from Turkey is typically 10–20% under UAE stockist prices for the same coating class; sea freight adds about 0.4–0.6 USD/m² and duty is 5%. We quote CIF per m² and per sheet within one working day.
What is the price of a 25-foot roofing sheet?
A 7.6 m (25 ft) sheet of 38/151 at 0.50 mm covers 8.1 m²; at the indicative band above it costs roughly 35–45 USD FOB Istanbul in PPGI, about 30–40 USD in galvanized, before freight. Longer sheets have no extra cutting charge up to 13.5 m.
What thickness should I choose?
0.40–0.45 mm for sheds and cladding with purlins at ≤1.5 m; 0.50 mm for warehouses with purlins at 1.6–2.2 m (the export standard); 0.60–0.70 mm for spans over 2.2 m or roofs with foot traffic. Always specify base-metal thickness.
How many roofing sheets fit in a container?
By area about 2 500–3 500 m² per 40' HC (12–14 t of 0.50 mm), i.e. 400–550 sheets of 6 m 38/151. Length up to 11.8 m fits a container; up to 13.5 m goes by truck or flat-rack.
Do you supply flashings, screws and purlins with the sheets?
Yes — ridge, eaves and side flashings in the same coil and colour, EPDM screws, foam fillers, gutters, skylights and galvanized C/Z purlins are added to the same container.
Do you manufacture the sheets yourselves?
Yes. The profiles are roll-formed on our own lines in Dilovası from our galvanized, PPGI and aluzinc coil stock, which is why any length and small colour runs are possible.
