What is tile-profile roofing sheet?
A tile-profile sheet is a trapezoidal PPGI sheet that passes through a second pressing station which stamps a transverse step every 350 mm, so the finished roof reads as rows of tiles. It keeps the advantages of a metal sheet — one piece from ridge to eave, 4–5 kg/m², screw-fixed to battens or purlins, watertight on pitches from 12° — with the appearance clients want on villas, housing schemes, hotels, mosques, schools and renovations over old tile or asbestos roofs. Substrate is galvanized (Z140–Z275) or aluzinc (AZ150) with a polyester, matt textured or PVDF top coat.

Installation notes
Battens at 350 mm (every step) on rafters at 600–1 000 mm, or purlins at 700 mm for 0.50 mm+ sheets; start at the eave corner opposite the prevailing wind, lay sheets bottom to top with the step facing down-slope, fix through the trough just below the step (2 screws per rib per batten at eaves and ridge, alternate ribs in the field); ridge and hip caps last. Walk on the batten lines. Roof of 200 m²: two men, one day.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a metal roof tile sheet weigh?
3.6 kg/m² at 0.40 mm, 4.5 kg/m² at 0.50 mm, 5.4 kg/m² at 0.60 mm — about a tenth of clay or concrete tiles, so the roof structure can be lighter.
What thickness should I choose?
0.40–0.45 mm for budget housing with battens at 350 mm; 0.50 mm as the standard for villas and projects (battens 350 or purlins 700 mm); 0.60 mm for large roofs and heavy snow.
What is the minimum roof pitch?
12° (about 21%), 14° for sheets longer than 6 m; below that use a trapezoidal or standing-seam sheet.
Which colours are available?
Stock: brown 8017, terracotta 3009, wine red 3005, green 6005, anthracite 7016, white 9002/9010, in gloss or matt textured; any RAL or PVDF from 5 t per colour.
Do you supply the ridge, valley and flashings?
Yes — all flashings in the same coil and colour, foam closures, screws, gutters and battens are added to the same container.
What is the price per m²?
See the indicative FOB Istanbul band above for 0.50 mm PPGI stock colours; per sheet = band × 1.1 m × length. Firm price per roof plan within one working day.
Can the sheets be walked on?
Yes on the batten lines; the step and ribs stiffen the sheet. Use crawling boards over long unsupported areas during installation.
Do you manufacture the tile sheets yourselves?
Yes — roll-formed and step-pressed on our own line in Dilovası from PPGI and aluzinc coil, cut to your rafter lengths.
