What is P265GH steel plate?
P265GH is the non-alloy pressure-vessel steel with 265 MPa minimum yield and specified elevated-temperature properties per EN 10028-2. Its chemistry (C ≤ 0.20 %, Mn 0.80–1.40 %, Al-killed, fine grain) is set for a stable microstructure in continuous service to about 400 °C; the standard certifies Rp0.2 of 223 MPa at 100 °C, 186 at 200 °C, 153 at 300 °C and 130 at 400 °C for plate up to 16 mm, and it is these values a designer uses to size a shell under the PED, AD 2000 or EN 13445. The DIN predecessor was H II, and the ASME-world twin is A516 Grade 60 — the two are frequently accepted as substitutes with the designer's approval. P265GH is the volume grade: Erdemir and İsdemir roll it in every campaign, so it is the boiler plate with the shortest lead time and the one we stock. It welds without preheat up to 25–30 mm, forms and dishes well, and covers the great majority of steam boilers, air receivers, heat exchangers and autoclaves.

Nominal weights — mill tolerance to EN 10029 class A adds up to +4 % on thin plate; invoiced on theoretical weight unless agreed otherwise.
Welding, cutting and forming
Welding to EN ISO 15614-1 qualified procedures: basic low-hydrogen consumables (E42 basic, G3Si1 / G4Si1), no preheat up to 25–30 mm, 75–100 °C above; interpass ≤ 250 °C. PWHT at 550–600 °C above about 35 mm wall per PED/AD 2000 (and always for tube-plate weldments). Cold forming to 2 × t; hot forming 900–1 000 °C followed by normalising at 890–930 °C; dished ends are pressed hot and normalised. Ultrasonic testing per EN 10160 is recommended above 40 mm. The fine grain gives excellent drilling and tube-expansion behaviour.

P265GH vs A516 Grade 60
They are the two default pressure-vessel plates of their worlds and are usually interchangeable with designer approval: P265GH gives 265 MPa yield and a certified elevated-temperature table; A516 Gr. 60 gives 220 MPa yield with a wider tensile band (415–550 MPa) and is specified through ASME Section II. A516 is generally normalised only above 40 mm unless ordered; P265GH always is. For an ASME U-stamp job order A516 Gr. 70; for PED/AD 2000 order P265GH. Export and packing
Export packing of P265GH steel plate is by skid: up to 5 t per pack, steel straps, corner boards, stencilled heat numbers and a pack list that references the 3.1 certificates. Six-metre plate loads 24–25 t into a 40' HC. Long and heavy plate is shipped flat-rack or breakbulk via Derince. HS code 7208.51 / 7208.52.

Documentation for P265GH steel plate: EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate as standard (heat number, analysis, tensile, Charpy, condition); 3.2 with an independent inspector, EN 10160 UT reports and additional low-temperature Charpy tests are available on plates above 8 mm at order.

P295GH has 295 MPa yield (11 % more) and higher elevated-temperature values, so the shell can be about 10 % thinner at the same pressure; it has a higher carbon equivalent and needs preheat above 20 mm.
