Tube laser cutting — round, square, rectangular tube and open profiles
A frame that used to be sawn, drilled, notched and jigged is now one file: the tube laser cuts the length, the mitres, the copes for the mating tube, the bolt holes and the tab-and-slot joints in a single pass, from tube we roll ourselves. Fabricators send the assembly and receive the kit.
Machine and capacity
4 kW fibre tube laser with 3D (bevel) head, automatic bundle loader for 6–12 m bars, chuck range Ø 12–220 mm, square 12–200 mm, rectangular to 200 × 100 mm, open profiles (IPE / IPN / UPN / UPE / angles / flat bar) within the 220 mm circle, wall to 12 mm carbon and 8 mm stainless, bar weight to 40 kg/m. About 60 000 parts a month.

Materials
Our own ERW black and galvanized tube, cold-rolled DKP tube and box section, pre-painted box section (film off at the cut), hollow sections to 200 × 200 × 12, stainless round / square / rectangular tube (satin film-on), IPE / UPN / angles to 200 mm; customer-supplied bars accepted in 6–12 m lengths. Galvanized and painted tube is cut with nitrogen to keep zinc burn minimal; cut edges are touched up on request.
Design and files
- Send the 3D assembly (STEP, IFC, SolidWorks, Inventor, Tekla) — we extract every part with its cuts
- Or a parts list with length, end angles and hole positions per part
- Tolerance ±0.2 mm on length to 3 m, ±0.5 mm to 12 m; hole position ±0.15 mm
- Minimum part length 80 mm; remnant per bar ≈ 150 mm
- Tab-and-slot designs shorten welding time by 50 % — we can convert your frame drawing
Pricing and lead time
Charged per part by tube size and cutting length (piercings included) plus material; typical 1–4 USD per part on furniture and rail tube, 5–15 USD on structural sections. Lead time 3–7 working days after file approval. Parts are bundled per assembly with a kit list; export orders ship with the tube or hollow-section order.
