Cut-to-length — flat sheet and blanks from coil, 0.30–12 mm
Most of the sheet and light plate we sell is cut from coil on our own lines: it lets us supply any length up to 12 m, blanks to size for the customer's press or laser, and flat, levelled material that a plate mill would charge a premium for — from the coil grades and gauges we hold in stock.
Lines and capacity
| Line | Thickness | Width | Length | Leveller | Coil weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Light CTL | 0.30–2.0 mm | 600–1 500 mm | 500–6 000 mm | 17-roll precision | to 20 t |
| Medium CTL | 1.5–6.0 mm | 800–1 500 mm | 1 000–12 000 mm | 13-roll | to 25 t |
| Heavy CTL | 4–12 mm | 1 000–2 000 mm | 1 500–12 000 mm | 9-roll heavy | to 30 t |
Stacking with automatic piling, paper interleaving for coated and stainless; 6 000 t a month combined.

- Rectangular blanks to the customer's size for pressing, laser and roll-forming
Tolerances and flatness
Length ±1 mm to 3 m, ±2 mm to 6 m, ±3 mm to 12 m; squareness ≤ 1 mm per 1 000 mm; width as slit (±0.2 mm) or as coil; flatness after levelling within EN 10029 class N (≤ 3 mm per 1 000 mm on HR) and EN 10131 on cold-rolled — better than mill plate for laser-cutting and pressing. Levelling relieves coil set and crossbow so that blanks lie flat on the laser bed.
Packing and delivery
Sheets are stacked on timber skids to 3 t (5 t for heavy plate), paper-interleaved for coated and stainless, strapped with edge protectors, PE-wrapped for sea freight, labelled with size, grade, heat, count and weight. Minimum 3 t per size and gauge from stock coil (20 t for customer coil); lead time 2–5 working days.
Pricing
Cut-to-length is charged per ton by thickness on top of the coil list price (typically 10–25 USD/t, more for lengths over 6 m and for blanks under 1 m), so sheet from coil costs less than mill sheet in most gauges; the offer shows coil price and cutting separately.
Frequently asked questions
What is the longest sheet you can cut?
12 000 mm on the medium and heavy lines (1.5–12 mm); 6 000 mm on the light line.
Is cut-to-length sheet flat enough for laser cutting?
Yes — precision-levelled to EN 10029 class N or better; coil set and crossbow are removed.
What is the minimum quantity?
3 t per size and gauge from our stock coil; 20 t if you supply the coil.
Can you cut blanks to my exact size?
Yes — any length from 500 mm and any width within the slit or coil width, ±1 mm.
